Review: Sidi Crossfire 2 SRS Boots

A product the Transmoto team has tried and tested, and would recommend to a mate…

WHAT IS IT?

SIDI Crossfire 2 SRS is the Italian company’s brand new Pro-level off-road boot. Its SRS (Sole Replaceable System) allows the boot’s soul to be customised for enduro, motocross or supermoto. It comes with a host of design upgrades over the original Crossfire boots.

HOW WE RATE IT:

If you’re a serious off-road rider who values market-leading protection, support and longevity from their boots, then Sidi’s Crossfire 2 SRS ought to be on your shopping list. Having listened to feedback about the previous Crossfire, Sidi has now created a little more room in the toe-box for added comfort, while the ankle hinges have been redesigned (they’re now enclosed) to eliminate the previous hinge’s circlip problem. The updated elastic gaiter around the top of the boot does a great job of keeping mud out, while the liner is very effective at wicking away sweat and keeping your feet dry and comfortable. Sidi’s Crossfire 2 comes with more adjustability and replaceable parts than any other boot on the market. It’s a premium boot, designed to last, for guys who ride a lot.
