The 2012 Transmoto 12-Hour powered by Insure My Ride is now completed and provided a fun an challenging day for all involved.
With Mother Nature reeking havoc on the area around Batemans Bay and forcing the 12-Hour to be postponed last month, she was again unrelenting in the lead up to the event, staging a severe downpour. Thankfully the creeks around the property subsided enough and the call was made to run it.

After competing in last year's event, Mick from Shepparton was back for more.
Out of the grasstrack and into the single trail.
More than 350 riders enjoyed what ended up being perfect conditions on the day - race day saw mid-twenty degree temperatures and not a drop of rain in sight. The unpredictable weather in the Batemans Bay region leading up to the event, which forced a last-minute rethink of the course layout, turned out to be a blessing in disguise and competitors enjoyed an amazing track that was a great mix of winding single track and open grass track.
This year we had competition in every class. Victors in the Mixed 4 Class were the 2-Bangers team, who won over two other competing teams, the Underdogs and 50/50. While in the Mens 4 Class there was a heated battle with Detour #1 and The Flying Fourskins, with Detour #1 pulling ahead in the last few hours of racing.
The results weren't so close in the Mens Pairs, with Yeah Almost - who featured Pro Rider Luka Bussa - securing the title over Sportscamera.com.au team by nearly a minute.
However, the stars of the event have to be the Ironman riders with eventual winner Nathan Fuller stealing a last-minute victory over Chris Warwick, winning 21 laps to 20.
Mixed 4 Class winners, the 2-Bangers.
Mens 4 Class winners Detour #1 claiming victory
Mens Pairs winners, Adam Riemann and Luka Bussa.
Although not an official award, the overall victory would have gone to team Yeah Almost who managed to knock over 27 laps, three minutes faster than their nearest rivals in the Detour #1 team. An impressive result when you consider Yeah Almost was a two-man team.
The fastest lap of the event was Glenn Kearney of The Flying Fourskins who clocked a 17:22.
